The TIGER TANK I model kit is an incredibly detailed, etched model that's a lot of fun and satisfying to put together. It starts with four 4-inch square sheets of steel and ends in a 3D model. Simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to extract the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points. No glue or soldering is required.

This German tank was the most powerful tank in the world when it was introduced in August 1942. The 88 mm gun was extremely powerful and the heavy armor made it almost impervious to attack. The success of the Tiger was so profound that no Allied tank dared to engage in open combat. This psychological fear soon became known as "tigerphobia."
