PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
  • Number of Sheets: 1 Leaf
  • Difficulty Level: Moderate
  • Dimensions: 1.7cm x 1.7cm x 12cm
  • Material: Metal
  • Recommended age range: 14+

The BIG BEN model kit is an incredibly detailed, etched model that's a lot of fun and satisfying to put together. It starts with a 4-inch square sheet of steel and ends with a 3D model. Simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to extract the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the fixing points. No glue or soldering is required.

Big Ben is the nickname for the large bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, although today the name also refers to the clock and the clock tower. The bell weighs almost 14 tons and each clock face is 23 feet in diameter. It became fully operational on September 7, 1859, and today stands at 316 feet tall and is one of London's most prominent symbols. The clock requires winding three times a week and pennies are periodically added or removed from the pendulum clock to maintain its accuracy.
