This is a TAMIYA 1:14 scale RC semi-truck assembly kit model of a long rear bed timber truck with a distinctive frame and stakes for hauling logs. The model itself represents the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter, a 16.1-liter, 750-hp turbocharged truck from the Swedish company's flagship FH series that underwent a complete model change in 2012.

The ABS plastic body captures the Globetrotter FH16 shape, with photo-etched stainless steel front grille and interior cab details.
The stake representations and the rear cab headboard use a durable combination of resin and metal.
The 3-speed, assembly-type transmission allows gear shifting via a separately sold 4-channel transmitter.
The ladder frame features aluminum side channels with plastic crossbars.
Power from the front-mounted engine is delivered to the rear axles via the propeller shaft. A differential gear incorporated into each axle allows for smooth cornering.
The highly realistic suspension uses metal springs and friction dampers. The model enjoys easy handling thanks to the die-cast front axles and reinforced resin rear axles.
The TR Mighty Tuned (35T) engine provides plenty of power, even when driving under load.

The LED cables on the multifunction control units (MFCs) are not compatible with this model. You'll need to purchase longer LED cables, available separately (items 56549-56551), if you use an MFC.
