Our Demag AC 220-5 in 1:50 scale. This series is produced in a limited edition; each model is uniquely numbered with a metal hook weight. With a main boom length of 78 meters, the AC 220-5 has the longest main boom length of all 5-axle cranes. In addition to being the tallest 5-axle crane, the AC 220-5 is also the most compact crane in its class with an overall length of 14.5 meters and a platform width of 3 meters. Like the AC 250-5, this 1:50 scale diecast model of its taller sibling, our AC 220-5 model, includes the complete Demag AC 220-5 scale model and a detailed construction manual. Our crane model is developed in 1:50 scale from high-quality diecast metal and comes with highlights such as functioning stabilizers, realistic steering, separate ballast, and a jib. To make this model more realistic and therefore longer than the 250 t version, the boom section can be extended up to seven times. The boom can be further lengthened by attaching the JIB to it. Optionally, you can position the JIB at different angles. Our high-quality die-cast crane is painted in the official RAL colors and features anti-scratch coating, high-quality pad printing in official Pantone colors, and fine photo-etched material for a detailed model.
