The UNSC MANTIS model kit is an incredibly detailed, etched model that is a lot of fun and satisfying to put together. It starts with two 4-inch square sheets of steel and ends in a 3D model. Simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to extract the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points. No glue or soldering is required.

The Mantis is an all-weather bipedal walker used by the UNSC military. An evolution of previous research and development related to military exoskeletons, the Mantis also integrates many technologies, such as shield generators and neural interface controls, created for the Spartans' MJOLNIR power armor. The Mantis weapons package consists of a 20mm M655 rotary autocannon and a six-chamber M5920 rocket launcher.
