PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DISCONTINUED MODEL - LATEST UNITS WORLDWIDE

  • Number of Sheets: 2 Sheets
  • Difficulty Level: Moderate
  • Recommended age range: 14+
  • Dimensions: 7.3 cm x 4.5 cm x 3 cm

The Sherman Tank model kit is an incredibly detailed, etched model that's a lot of fun and satisfying to put together. It starts with two 4-inch square sheets of steel and ends with a 3D model. Simply use the easy-to-follow instructions included with the sheet to extract the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points. No glue or soldering is required.

The Sherman tank was the main tank used by the United States during World War II. The tank is named after Union General William Tecumseh Sherman. Production exceeded 50,000 units. Only the Soviet T-34 tank was produced in large numbers during World War II. Although it was totally inadequate against the 56-ton German Tiger I and 72-ton Tiger II, mobility, mechanical reliability, and sheer numbers helped offset its strategic disadvantages.
